Description

The marines are multi-purpose infantry. Regarded as foundational units, marines compose the bulk of most terran front-line forces, ranging from officially government-sanctioned units, local militias, and private security firms, to pirates, renegades and mercenaries.

The marines are generally equipped with CMC powered armor suits and rapid-fire C-14 gauss rifles. The suit provides full life-support and NBC protection, allowing marines to deploy into environments that would otherwise be inimical to human life.

Massed marines form a flexible and highly effective fighting force for both offensive and defensive operations against both ground and air targets. Alternatively marines can use HEV Sniper Rifles, TRS9 Shotguns, Heavy Chainguns and protective Combat Shields.

Abilities

Ability Cooldown
Description Allow the marine to position the shield on front to block incoming projectiles but becomes immobile while this ability is active. Using the ability again will revert the marine back to its normal state. A Combat Shield is required.

Ability Salvage Speed

Description Recover the contents of different objects. A Hand Welder is required. Several Marines can use this ability on the same target.

Ability Repair Speed

Description Restore health to friendly mechanical units and structures. A Hand Welder is required. Several Marines can use this ability on the same target.

Ability Description
Turn on the suits headlights increasing sight range +1, however it makes your unit easier to be spotted by enemies. Using the ability again will revert the marine to its normal state.
