The marines named these ones "Banelisks". The acid spit is bad enough, but just wait until they explode.
Description
The Banelisk is an evolved version of the Baneling. While the Baneling is a small and fast suicide unit, the Banelisk is slower, larger and more destructive, even capable of spiting their acid compound at their targets. The spewed acid will linger around the attacked area for a while harming any who pass trough it.
- The melee attack damage from this unit scales with the distance between itself and nearby units.
- Killing this unit will trigger its melee attack, damaging nearby units.
- The ranged attack of this unit deals damage on an area scaling based on the distance between the epicenter of it and nearby units.
- Upon dying this unit leaves behind an acid pool that damages and slows units that walk on it.
